Madden, a football video game, has been popular for decades originally debuting in 1988. It’s most recent edition to the series, Madden 24, has been dubbed the most realistic and best made Madden in its franchise. This game released Aug. 18. Here are some reviews on the game from current Tallmadge High School students.
Junior Gabe Jones
Q: Has Madden been improved from last year?
A: It has new updated tackling motions and is more realistic than any other Madden.
Q: How has it changed?
A: Catches that would occur in old Maddens that were too hard to catch in real life are now dropped.
Q: Is it worth the $70 pricetag?
A: I think it is because of how much you are getting in the game.
Junior Sean Rorar
Q: How many people to do you know that also play Madden?
A: Almost everyone plays it.
Q: Are there any bugs in the game?
A: So far, there’s nothing wrong with the game.
Q: What would you change about the new Madden?
A: I would change the amount of fumbles there are in the game.
Sophomore Wraiden Scott
Q: Are the teams accurate?
A: The teams are accurate, but the player overalls aren’t. Some players should have higher overalls than others.
Q: Is the game balanced?
A: The game has definitely changed and taken out the bugs that would create an unfair game.
Q: Would you buy it?
A: I would because people are going to get it no matter how good it is.
