Senior Jackson Queen has been on The Devils’ Tale staff for three semesters. Queen is a member of National Honor Society, Senior Class Officers, Respect Club, Pep Club, Cross Country and Track. He loves photography and music. For college, Queen plans on attending Kent State University to pursue a career in education.

Staff receive first dose of vaccine Feb. 3

Staff members sit six feet apart after receiving their vaccination. After being vaccinated with the first dose vaccine, Tallmadge staff was required to stay behind for fifteen minutes before they could leave as nurses monitored for any reactions.

Teacher Julie Headrick nervously looks away while receiving the COVID-19 vaccine Feb. 3 in the Tallmadge High School Gymnasium. “I am always nervous before I get shots, and I felt a lot of emotions in getting this one,” Headrick said.

After receiving the vaccine, teacher Joni Giles patiently waits fifteen minutes before she can leave the gymnasium. “I felt so extremely happy that I was half-protected from this virus and I can't’ wait to get the next one,” Giles said. Staff members will receive their second dose Feb. 24.
